Financial Tips: 市況速遞 1/11

美國市場

大部分美國股票上升,標準普爾500指數連續第2個月報升,因Microsoft Corp的業績較
市場預期為佳及經濟增長符合預期。



美國第3季經濟按年增長2%,加上通脹降溫,支持聯儲局官員指需要推出更多措施刺激
經濟增長的觀點。



歐洲市場

歐洲股市於4週以來首度報升,因市場更為憂慮央行的刺激經濟措施將不足以推動經濟
持續反彈。



歐洲最大經濟體系德國9月份零售銷售意外地連續第2個月下跌。



歐洲通脹上升至近兩年以來最高水平,而失業率則處於12年以來高位,顯示經濟復甦正
在失去動力。



日本市場

日本股市下跌,東證股價指數連跌5日,因日圓升值增添市場對企業盈利增長的憂慮,
及部分企業業績遜於預期。



日本9月份工業生產連續第4個月下降,令市場更為擔憂該國由出口所帶動的經濟復甦正
在失去動力。



亞太市場

亞洲股市下跌,摩根士丹利亞洲指數連續第2週回落,因Sharp Corp調低其盈利預測及
Samsung Electronics Co指記憶晶片及螢幕價格將會下降。



台灣加權指數下跌。指數全週及全月均上升。低成本手提電腦生產商Asustek Computer
Inc上升至自8月4日以來最高水平,因公司於第3季轉虧為盈。繼於去年同期錄得1.31億
元新台幣虧損後,該公司於今年第3季錄得33.2億元新台幣盈利。



新加坡就業職位連續第5季增加,帶動失業率回落至兩年半以來最低水平。



南韓Kospi指數下跌,但連續第2個月報升。Hyundai Motor Co子公司Kia Motors Corp
上升,連續第9日上升。該公司第3季盈利上升66%,因南韓本土、中國及美國新型號銷
售增加。公司第3季純利由去年同期4,020億韓圜上升至6,666億韓圜(5.93億美元)。



南韓9月份工業生產以11個月以來最緩慢的速度增長,因部分工廠因假期而停產。



中國/香港

中國股市於10月份是表現最佳的市場之一,但於上週五下跌,因市場預期政府可能採取
行動壓抑通脹及房市投機性活動,並導致上證綜合指數自2009年7月以來最大單月升幅
收窄。



香港股市下跌,恆生指數全月升幅收窄,因交通銀行及中國人壽的企業業績遜於分析員
預期。友邦保險於首日掛牌上升。



新興市場

巴西股市上升,連續第2個月造好。房屋建築商及零售商上升,因有關央行將會加息為
經濟降溫的憂慮得到舒緩。



債券市場

美國30年期國庫券上升,因政府數據顯示美國第3季國內生產總值增長符合市場預期。



U.S. Market

Most U.S. stocks rose, with the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index completing its
second straight monthly advance, as Microsoft Corp. beat profit estimates
and economic growth matched forecasts.



The U.S. economy expanded at a 2 percent annual rate in the third quarter
and inflation cooled, underscoring the views of Federal Reserve policy
makers who say more stimulus will be needed to spur growth.

European Market

European stocks had the first weekly decline in four weeks as concern grew
that central bank stimulus measures will be insufficient to sustain the
economic rebound.

Retail sales in Germany, Europe’s largest economy, unexpectedly dropped for
a second straight month in September.



European inflation unexpectedly accelerated to the fastest in almost two
years and unemployment was at a 12-year high as the recovery showed signs of
losing momentum.



Japan Market

Japanese stocks fell, sending the Topix index to its fifth consecutive
decline, as a strengthening yen added to concern about earnings growth and
some companies missed their profit estimates.



Japan’s industrial production fell for a fourth month in September, adding
to concern the nation’s export-led recovery is losing momentum.



Asia / Pacific Market

Asian stocks fell, dragging the MSCI Asia Pacific Index to its second
straight weekly decline, as Sharp Corp. cut its profit forecast and Samsung
Electronics Co. said memory-chip and display-panel prices will drop.



Taiwan’s Taiex Index fell. The benchmark index gained this week and
advanced for the month. Asustek Computer Inc., a low-cost laptop computer
maker, increased to the highest since Aug. 4. The company turned to a profit
of NT$3.32 billion in the three months ended Sept. 30 from a loss of NT$131
million in the same period a year earlier.



Singapore employers expanded payrolls for a fifth consecutive quarter,
pushing the jobless rate to the lowest in 2 1/2 years.



South Korea’s Kospi index fell, but rose for the second straight month. Kia
Motors Corp., an affiliate of Hyundai Motor Co., gained, rising for a ninth
session. The company boosted profit 66 percent in the third quarter as new
models increased sales at home, in China and the U.S. Net income rose to
666.6 billion won ($593 million) in the three months ended Sept. 30 from 402
billion won a year earlier



South Korea’s industrial production rose at the slowest pace in 11 months
in September as a holiday season shut down some of the nation’s factories.



China/ Hong Kong Market

China’s stocks, the best performer among global markets in October, fell on
the prospect the government will intensify measures to curb inflation and
property speculation. The losses narrowed the biggest monthly gain since
July 2009 for the Shanghai Composite Index.



Hong Kong stocks fell, paring the Hang Seng Index’s monthly gain, after
Bank of Communications Co. and China Life Insurance Co. reported earnings
that missed analysts’ estimates. AIA Group Ltd. rose on its first day of
trading.



Emerging Markets

The Bovespa stock index rose, capping a second monthly gain, as homebuilders
and retailers rallied on easing concern policy makers will raise borrowing
costs to cool the economy.



Bond Market

Treasury 30-bonds rose after data showed the U.S. gross domestic product
grew in the third quarter in line with forecasts.
